Day 1: Leh Arrival: Welcome to Leh. Our representative shall welcome you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Today, full day rest is advised for acclimatization. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 2: Leh – Sightseeing: Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Head for a local sightseeing tour of Leh covering the most famous monasteries here. You would visit the Thiksey Monastery, Shey Monastery and Palace, and the Hemis Monastery. Also, visit the Leh Palace and local markets of the valley. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Shey Monastery: They Shey Palace & Monastery is located 15 kms from Leh. These are situated on an elevation, offering some breathtaking views of Ladakh. The palace dating back to 1655 was the abode of the erstwhile king. The Shey Gompa (Monastery) is adorned by the elegant gold-plated Buddha statue. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in Ladakh. You can see eternal lamps, which remain lit all year round. The library, the murals and the wall paintings are of special interest to tourists.

Thiksey Monastery: Ladakh is the land of Buddha and of monasteries and Thiksey Monastery lying at a distance of 19 Kms from Leh is one of the largest and most famous monasteries. This beautiful monastery lies at a towering height of 3,600 Mts and has a supremely divine and pure aura. The white and red monastery matches and merges with the surrounding landscape. The grand Maitreya Buddha statue, Tara Temple and Lamokhang Temple are exquisite structures. A Lama School and nunnery are also located inside the monastery.
