Even though a general alert is still in effect in six districts of Kerala, the state government there announced that the Nipah issue is completely under control. The tourism industry is operating according to plan. 

  • An advisory has been issued by Rajeev Sadanandan (Additional Chief Secretary of Health) that travelling to any part of Kerala is safe but if travellers wished to be extra cautious, they may avoid the four northern districts—Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kannur.
