As the journey to the Mount Kailash unfolds, an exciting prelude covers visit to the Chandragiri temple and Bhaktapur sightseeing in Nepal. The Chandragiri Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva atop a hill where you can also enjoy great views of the Mt Kailash. 

A cultural visit to Bhaktapur lets you explore the Pagoda-style temples and the famous tourist spots reflecting Nepal's cultural and spiritual gems.

  • Nepalgunj - Simikot - Nepalgunj air ticket (Fixed wing - Twin Otter aircraft or Dornier).
  • Simikot - Hilsa - Simikot by Helicopter (only 5 persons can be carried at a time).

Welcome to Kathmandu. Our representative will meet and greet you at the Airport. From here, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Original passport and photograph will be collected for Chinese visa processing. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast at hotel. Proceed with full-day sightseeing tour covering Pashupatinath Temple, ShaktiPeeth and Budhanilkantha Temple. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the journey tomorrow. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Optional: Everest Mountain Flight.
Wake up and settle for breakfast in morning. Relax for some time. After lunch in afternoon, take 1 hour flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel in Nepalgunj.
Wake up and enjoy early morning breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer to Airport for flight to Simikot. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Simikot.
Wake up and eat breakfast at the hotel. Checkout from the hotel and head for helicopter ride to Hilsa. Later in afterrnoon, proceed with a drive to Taklalkot. Upon reaching, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel in Taklakot.
Wake up and settle for a hearty breakfast. Checkout from the hotel and drive to Mansarovar Lake. Enroute, visit the Rakshas Tal where you would witness the Gurla Mandata Parvat, Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake. Continue drive to Mansarovar Lake. Upon reaching, start the Parikrama and join the a ritual worship nearby the waters. Overnight stay at Hotel near Mansarovar Lake.
Wake up, enjoy breakfast in morning and checkout from the hotel. Proceed with1 Hour drive to Darchen from where you would head to Yama Dwar – the starting point of Mount Kailash Yatra. Upon reaching, get ready for a 16 km trek to Dirapuk (17,000 ft.). Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel, and rest for the day. Overnight stay at Hotel in Dirapuk.

Note: If you do not wish to trek around (Parikrama) Mt. Kailash, you can return to Darchen for the rest of the day.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and begin trek to Dolma La Pass (8 km). This trek starts with a 2-hour climb to Dolma La Pass (18,700 ft). Once you reach, refresh yourself with a cup of tea and hot snacks. Next, there is a steep descend for an hour before the 22 km scenic valley walk to Zuthulphuk (15,800 ft.) begins. Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Guest House in Zuthulphuk.
After Breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed for an easy trek to reach the Private A/C Coach pick up point. From here, a 3 km drive to Darchan followed by drive to Hilsa (you can take helicopter ride to Simikot as per the situation). Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay at Guest House in Hilsa.
Wake up and eat breakfast. Checkout from the hotel and head for 20 minutes flight to Simikot. From here, board the 1 Hour flight to reach Nepalgunj/Surkhet. After sometime, take the flight to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at hotel. Checkout from the hotel. Certificate for completion of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will be given and you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport around 1-2 hours prior the flight time.
