On arrival, meet our guide who will transfer you to Sigiriya. Enroute head to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. This well-known orphanage was started in 1975 that houses abandoned and wounded elephants. These gigantic creatures have been brought from various parts and have been kept here for their safety. You can feed and bathe them and watch them, from a closer view. Later head to Sigiriya which is known to be a world heritage site is perhaps the most amazing single wonder of the island. Also known as Lion Rock, Sigiriya is a must visit place during your Sri Lanka tour. Sigiriya is known to be Lion Rock because of the huge Lion that used to stand at the entrance on the summit.
