On this trip you visit the Cellular Jail in the capital Port Blair. It was meant mainly for Indian prisoners who dared to defy the British imperialism (freedom fighters). This huge building dating back to 1906, consists of several small rooms. The Sound and Light Show is a journey, showcasing the horrors, trials and tribulations that were inflicted upon them and their indomitable spirit in the face of all these atrocities. But an altogether world full of exciting beaches lies a few minutes drive from the jail. One can enjoy a variety of water sports on Corby’s Cove beach. Ross Island has an interesting mix of ruins of the erstwhile British and Japanese structures, laced with tropical lush greenery. The Havelock Island, which lies just 38 km from Port Blair is the treasure trove of beautiful Islands. Radhanagar Beach, the most beautiful beach in Asia and the serene Kalapathar Beach are some amazing experiences on this Island.
Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, Bharatpur Beach – Neil Island,also known as the ‘vegetable bowl’ of Andaman, is all about stunningly beautiful beaches. Enjoy the mesmerising sunrise at Sitapur beach and beautiful Sunset at the Laxmanpur beach. Another tourist attraction at this beach is the Howrah Bridge a natural bridge like formation. Bharatpur is yet another tranquil beach with soft white sand and clear water, with corals visible on the bottom.

After breakfast, visit the Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of SouthEast Asia, was nicknamed the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Later, head for an excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breath-taking spectacle. Please carry your lunch pack, drinking water & changing dress.
