On arrival at Paro, meet our representative who will guide and transfer you to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later in the evening, head to Taschichoe Dzong which is known to be the Fortress of Glorious Religion. Return back after exploring and overnight stay at Thimphu.

Today, after breakfast you will begin you sightseeing tour with places like King’s Memorial Chorten which was built in the memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace. This chorten or stupa is a huge white structure that is crowned with a golden spire. Located close to the city of Thimphu, this stupa is one of the most iconic monuments and garnered tourists from all walks of life. Next you will head to Buddha Point where you will get to see a statue of Budhha that is 169 feet tall. Next you will head to Sangaygang (BBS Tower) that was built in the 12th century and is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) operates the country's radio and television network and has a hilltop-built telecommunications tower. It is situated at 2685 m above sea level and provides views of the whole Thimphu valley. During the evening, when the sun sets, the place is best enjoyed and is sure to make your tour worthwhile. Proceed to Changangkha lhakhang which is an ancient temple located about 1 km from Thimpu city center. The temple was built on a site chosen by the Drukpa Lineage founder in Bhutan in the 12th century. The temple has massive wheels of prayer along with incredibly huge texts from Tibet and very fine interior murals. Later, head to National handicrafts shop where you can buy interesting handicrafts that takes place in the weekend market. In the evening take a leisure walk from Clock tower square and interact with local people. Return back after your city tour and overnight stay.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and later drive to Paro and where you will be visiting RimpugDzhing which is Bhutan’s most iconic Dzhong. It is the finest example of Dzong architecture and boast of massive walls that dominate over the valley. The fortress was built in 1644 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and the fort played an important role in the history of Paro valley. The path to the Dzong is through the NemiZam, a traditional covered bridge. A paved stone path runs alongside the structure's formidable exterior walls. The ParoTsechu, the annual religious springtime festival of the valley, is held annually in the dzong courtyard and is attended by visitors from all over the world. Head to visit Ta Dzong which is a national museum of Bhutan and houses inside the six storied circular Ta Dzong. This well known museum boast of amazing collection of textile, costumes, paintings, wooden handicrafts, weapons, jewellery and armour. A small chapel is built on top of the building with icons that exhibit the Himalayan Buddhist traditions. After the city tour, return back to Paro for overnight stay.

Paro is known to be a valley of religion and myth and there you can visit Taktshang which is also called Tiger’s Nest. This popular landmark stands on a granite cliff and is about 1000m above the valley. The Taktsang monastery is known to be a national treasure of Bhutan. Take a short hike to Taktsang and you will reach a cafeteria from where you can enjoy picturesque view of the monastery. Later walk down back to road and reach your hotel for lunch. Then take a walk in Paro Bazar for shopping and overnight stay at Paro.

Bhutan tour will come to an end where you will be driven back to Paro International Airport. From there board flight for your onward destination.
