After breakfast, proceed to Trincomalee which is a 2-hour drive from Dambulla. Head to visit Shakthi Peedam, Thirukonneshwaram Temple which is a spectacular temple situated on a rock promontory of Trincomalee. Have your breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy which is a 4-hour drive from Trincomalee. Enroute visit Dambulla Cave Temple which is a huge isolated rock mass which is 500 feet high. On arrival at Colombo, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later head to visit the famous Panchamuga Anjaneyer Temple in Colombo. It is the only temple on the island that is dedicated to Lord Hanuman in his Panchamuga form which means the five faces.
