Wildlife Safari in Rajaji National Park, Haridwar

This fascinating activity is an initiative of the Haridwar and Rishikesh tourism authorities, which is a rich wildlife habitat and bird-watching getaway. It is revered as a popular reserve of Asian Elephants whereas you can also spot more than 400 diverse bird species here.

• This national park dates back to the year 1948.
• The best time to visit here is from March to April (the spring months) as it heats up in summers and is chilly in winters.
• This park is closed for monsoon (July to September) although it becomes greener and beautiful during this time.
• The first jungle safari takes off from 6 AM to 10 AM and the second is 2 PM to 6 PM.
