The Chardham Yatra is one-of-a-kind sacred journey taken in the Land of the Gods, Uttarakashi in India. It is one of the holiest sojourns that covers the four prime pilgrimages: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Gangotri. All these attractions are settled at an altitude of 10,800 ft. to 11,755 ft. and are surrounded by the Western group of Garhwal Himalayan ranges. The holy shrines marks the significance of the four sacred rivers: River Yamuna, River Ganga, River Mandakini and River Alaknanda. The temples present at these locations attract thousands of devotees who seek to worship dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, and Lord Vishnu . It is believed that this journey is the ultimate way to achieve moksha (salvation) from the cycle of life and death.
Our Chardham Yatra spiritual circuit starts at Yamunotri and ends at Badrinath. It proceeds to Gangotri followed by the main dhams: Kedarnath and Badrinath. If the Char Dham Yatra seems to be an arduous task, you can opt for the Do Dham Yatra. You can also opt for Char Dham Yatra by a helicopter ride from one dham to another. This intimate journey is where the willpower and faith of devotees that results in a pure connection with the divine power. Simply put, it is a soul-filling, bliss-discovering and a life-transforming experience you must experience in a lifetime!
Please note that the most suitable time for Char Dham yatra 2023 is from April to November as these attractions remain closed for tourists otherwise due to inappropriate weather conditions.
Delhi – Haridwar – Barkot – Yamunotri – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Guptkashi- – Kedarnath – Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath – Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi
On arrival at Haridwar, meet our guide who will transfer you to your booked hotel. Later in the evening, visit Har-Ki-Pauri and attend the Ganga Aarti on the banks of Ganges. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Today depart for Barkot/Jankichatti. Barkot is a popular hill station that is situated on the foot of Yamunotri. Drive through Mussorie, visit the famous Kempty Falls on your way. Arrive at Barkot, check into your hotel/camp. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot.
After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti, Janki Chatti where you will begin the first Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri. You can choose to hire a palki or a horse for your trek. You will pass through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Arrive by afternoon at Yamunotri and take a holy drip in Yamuna River and perform pooja. Return back to Barkot via the same route. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Uttarkashi and on arrival, check into the hotel. Situated on the banks of River Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is popular for its historical monuments, ashrams and temples. Later in the evening, head to visit Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Have your breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangotri which is situated in the stunning Garhwal Himalayas. On arrival, take a dip at the sacred River Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Head to visit Gangotri Temple which is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is situated near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. After attending the Pooja in the late afternoon, drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Today after breakfast, leave for Guptkashi and on arrival, check in to the hotel. Situated at a distance of 47 km from Kedarnath, Guptkashi is a religious place that attracts devotees from all over the world. Get your medical checkup as you proceed to Kedarnath. Dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Munch in your breakfast and check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From here start your trek to Kedarnath and you can choose to hire a doli or a horse for trekking. Enjoy the picturesque view of the mountains as your trek towards Kedarnath. On arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Today early morning get up before dawn and head for Abhishek to Kedarnath Shiva. You can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. After the Darshan, come out of the temple and return back to the hotel. Later start your trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. You will then drive to Guptkashi/Rudraprag. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Have your breakfast and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Badrinath is known to be an important pilgrimage site that holds immense importance for both Buddhists and Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is nestled at a height of 3133 meter. Arrive at Badrinath and rest for a while. Later head to visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan in the evening. But before that go to Tapt Kund and take a bath. After your temple tour, return back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan early in the morning and later return back to the hotel for breakfast. After the tour, head for sightseeing tour of Badrinath and visit popular attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa and Mata Murti Temple. Later in the afternoon, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Enroute head to visit Karanprayag. On arrival at Rudraprayag, check in to the hotel and relax for a while. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.
Have your breakfast and drive downhill to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. On arrival, head for sightseeing tour and visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. By evening drive to Haridwar and on arrival check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi and get transferred to Railway station/ airport.
