Overview

The Do Dham Yatra is one-of-a-kind sacred journey taken in the Land of the Gods, Uttarakashi in India. It is one of the holiest sojourns that covers the two prime pilgrimages: Kedarnath and Badiriath. All these attractions are settled at a staggering altitudes and are surrounded by the Western group of Garhwal Himalayan ranges.These holy shrines marks the significance of the four sacred rivers: River Mandakini and River Alaknanda. The temples present at these locations attract thousands of devotees who seek to worship dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. These pilgrimate sites are covered in the sacred Char Dham Yatra that is believed that this journey is the ultimate way to achieve moksha (salvation) from the cycle of life and death.

Day 1 : Delhi – Rishikesh (By Road: 5 Hours Drive)

Welcome to India. Our representative will receive you from Delhi airport and transfer to Rishikesh. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 2 : Rishikesh – Guptkashi (By Road: 6-7 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, head for Rishikesh sightseeing with visit to the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Nikeetan. Later, proceed to Guuptkashi. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 3 : Guptkashi – Gaurikund (By Road: 1 Hour Drive) – Kedarnath (By Trek: 5-6 Hours)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel. Drive to Gaurikund followed by trek to Kedarnath Temple. On reaching, visit the shrine and seek divine blessings at Kedarnath Temple, Return back to Phata. Later, drive back to Guptkashi. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kedarnath.

Day 4 : Kedarnath – Gaurikund (By Trek) – Guptkshi (By Road: 1 Hour Drive)

After breakfast, head to Gaurikund via trek. On arrival, and transfer to Guptkashi. Overnight stay at hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 5 : Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (By Road: 7-8 Hours Drive)

Have your breakfast. Checkout from the hotel. Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival, rest for some time and later, head for Darshan in the evening. Before that, visit the Tapt Kund for a holy bath. Return to hotel. Settle for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.

Day 6 : Badrinath – Joshimath – Kirtinagar (By Road: 6-7 Hours Drive)

Early morning Darshan at Badrinath temple. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, head for Badrinath local sightseeing covering Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Post lunch, drive to Kirtingar. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kirtinagar.

Day 7 : Kirtinagar - Haridwar (By Road: 7-8 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel. Drive to Haridwar. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. In the evening attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Paudi. Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.

Day 8 : Haridwar – Sightseeing – Delhi Airport (5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, checout from the hotel. Head for Haridwar sightseeing covering the Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Mayapuri Temple etc. Later, transfer to the Delhi Airport to board flight back home.
